I found 16K in my closet....NEED MODS

So I stumbled across $16,000 (not really in my closet) and want to do some mods to my camaro. I have a 2010 SS LS3 with ARH, HF cats, and x pipe. (I still need axle back exhaust). I’m currently in Texas (Afghanistan right now) and have been looking at some shops where I want to get some work done. My only issue is I’m not sure where I want to go. I’m looking to have around 650HP and have it done right the first time by a reputable shop. I don’t mind shipping it to any shops outside of Texas as well. Anybody got any ideas or setups that you currently own and love it that can lend a fellow camaro-er a hand. Some of the shops I've been looking at just to name a few are:

LPE - they do awesome work and the LPE brother hood on here seems to be nice

HPE - They do awesome work. I was actually talking to somebody from Hennessey but they stopped e-mailing me

East Texas Muscle Car - I don’t know too much about these guys but I plan on doing some research

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You re-upped and that was your bonus, wasn't it? I remember those days.

Everyone is going to give you their opinion on where to go. Your best bet is to research the companies yourself and find out who has done what with the cars. HPE and LPE are great, however you're paying more for the name then anything else.

I also want to Thank you for your service.

Supercharger Connection is partnered with LPE as an authorized dealer and installer. I would be honored to talk to you regarding a possible build of your Camaro.

Same here man. If you go with HPE, there setup uses a TVS2300, and like I said before, you're really just paying for the name. There's a lot of vendors that offer some great deals if you know where to look.

How is Afghan.? I wanted to go there, but like I said, I couldn't make the trip. I'd give anything to go back though. Aside from what went down in Iraq, I had a great time over there, minus the damn heat. It's like a oven when you get into Kuwait. At least, that's how it was for me.

@ jessika.....thanks for your support as well. Ill deff be buying that 1:1 rear cog drive upgrade for my maggie. I love they way they sound.

@ chris.... I was leaning towords HPE but i see alot of other tuners that off alot more for less money. I like the HPE name but dont really want to spend that much money if i can get more bang for my buck. Afghan is ok. Im in a decent area this time around. Back in 07 i was up north and it sucked...lol. Afghan has the same kind of heat as iraq though. where were you at in Iraq. I was in baghdad back in 05. That sucked to. glad im leaving here in a few months and hopefully come home to a nice 600+HP beast.

Sorry everybody just had to vent a lil bit....lol

I was in Southern Iraq near the Persian Gulf. About 15 miles away from the Kuwait border. So not only did I get the heat, but I also had the moisture from the Gulf too.

I would recommend Dallas Performance. They will get you setup with whatever you want but the Procharger kits are great!!!

I say whipple and a cam, you can tune those DOWN as low as to 650 I think...

I think that you can prolly get close to 650 on stock cam with a blower, but might wanna consider a clutch and 9" IRS first, then ad power, if you're gonna see track time. I did not do a 9", because I don't beat on mine at all. It's just there if I want to.

Best mod for your car...Its to much trouble and to hot in Texas to get the full benefit of mods. Just give me the money so i can finish my build in a milder climate.

I am not on the supercharged side but I can say at my level there is no traction. My opinion is start from the ground up. Get the car planted and then add the power.
