Vintage Camaro Badging

Can somebody post a link to where I could check out some old 1st gen badging?

This along with painted on stripes will make my Camaro 2SS just right.

If you put 1st Gen badging on a New Camaro it will not look right. The old cars are not streamlined like the new car. The badges were made for that ime period. I have two 1st Gens and love both of them but, they are totally different cars. You cannot combine the two.

I agree, and I hung my original 67 emblems on the wall in my basement. All the plating is peeling so the car gets all new ones which I ordered from either Classic Industries or Ricks First Gen... I forget

Personally I like the Chevy V-Flag emblem like the 1 gens had on the side fender. I've got a pair and just might put them under the "Camaro"

That's what I am talking about!

Imagine this with painted on stripes and chrome billet overlays on the gills!

I like the idea of having the cursive writing "Camaro" badge on the side, but I am pretty sure wou would have to drill holes in the car in order to get the badge to stick.

I really liked the retro Challenger emblem on the side

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but I always thought the Chevrolet V-Flag thing was a corvette emblem...

I was under the impression that the Chevy cross flag emblem represented any small block v8 Chevy, regardless of what vehicle it was in.

Over the years, Chevy has had some sort of flag emblems on many cars, and yes the camaro in 67 had the flag emblem on the small block. IMO, since you are paying for the car, you can customize their car however you want. A small 3 inch badge won't dishonor the car's hertiage, after all, what other gen had the side "gills" ? My 69 did, and now my 2010 does.
