Ok, that's cool. Just wanted to know if I needed to bring the money to the fest or not. Mirrors look great!

Maybe I missed it somewhere, but will these auto dim like the stock ones? My eyes are light sensitive and it's a big plus.

Unfortunately we were not able to make these auto-dimming. If it is any help, due to the reduced size of the mirror the glare is reduced anyway.

Yes, the motor was the hardest part since the mirrors are so slim. There is not a motor on the market that would fit this type of housing so one had to be developed, if it was not for the motor being redesigned these would have been out months ago and would cost much less to own.

Hmm. Did not know that. Well definite props for making a motor that fits the design.

I'm really liking these as well, any ideas on how long they should take to replace? Watched a youtube vid on removing door panel, I think that's all we'd have to do correct? And did I see that its definately off for auto-dim? There is also a mention of ghost paint, will that be extra option once AAC actually process the orders?

Once you take off the interior door panel it's only 3 bolts. Super easy. Yes, auto dim is a no-go. Yes, ghost paint is an option.

Right, we will post a link to check out on July 30th when you will select your paint color choice and take advantage of the free ghost option. Remember, to get this special pricing and discounted paint and free ghost upgrade you need to join the pre-order list by making your deposit

Its just $100 to get in on the pre-order and save you spot on the list http://www.automotivelightstore.com/...r_deposit.aspx

You do not need to completely remove the door panel, the nuts for the mirror are right at the top so you can loosen the door panel to get to them. Its usually easier to just remove it all together but for those that do not feel comfortable with that you can just loosen it to get the the nuts.
