So are you guys excited about these mirrors?

Here are a couple more teasers, we are getting closer to July 30th!

I know it looks like this project is almost completed but there is still plenty of fine-tuning to be done!

They do look amazing! Would it be possible at some stage (and I appreciate how busy you are) to see a set (perhaps in yellow) with the ghosted option, because I know a lot of us are still on the fence for that. Many thanks!!

Out of curiosity, is the mirror on the passenger side curved by any chance?

No not curved, may be the angle of the photo. You can go back and look at the design videos on post #1 for a more detailed look

As per FMVSS CFR 49 P:400-599 requirements we can only offer amber color marker LEDs in the mirror because the light faces forward. If you want to change the LEDs out on your own we can't stop you

The LEDs will connect to the door panel illumination and come on with the parking lights as well as include instructions to connect to the turn signal if you prefer them to operate that way.

Are you guys still going to be installing these at C5Fest? If so, shouldn't we be giving you our paint options soon?

C5Fest is still going to be cutting this super-close, we anticipate having these in stock at the end of July and are working with the painter to come up with a timeframe to get these painted (not rushed) and then they do need additional time to dry because they are packaged in microfiber bags and then boxed. We need to bake the paint so that the microfiber does not leave an imprint in the paint. These are all the things we are working out now so that when its crunch time we have a plan. We want to have these at C5F3 but not at the risk of giving the cutovers a sub-par product or finish. We will be keeping you guys up-to-date with info in the coming weeks.

Ok, that's cool. Just wanted to know if I needed to bring the money to the fest or not. Mirrors look great!

Maybe I missed it somewhere, but will these auto dim like the stock ones? My eyes are light sensitive and it's a big plus.

Unfortunately we were not able to make these auto-dimming. If it is any help, due to the reduced size of the mirror the glare is reduced anyway.
