Need some help! Clutch snaps up and down stuck in parking lot.

Hey guys, was just cruising and I've had the clutch behave funny from time to time but never anything seemingly terrible. Well this time the clutch either sticks to the floor or snaps up, no in between, and it started pissing brake fluid. I was fortunate enough to get it into a parking lot, now I can't even get it In gear.

Is this the issue you all have mentioned or any ideas what I can do in a pinch, or is a tow in my future?

How much fluid did you lose? With the car on, pump the clutch pedal 6 or 7 times while leaving the shifter in neutral

Feels as though the cylinder is drawing on a vacuum when you try to pull the pedal away from the floor and the springs of the pedal are the only thing allowing it to return to the top

Next question: is this something typical of these cars, or is this a fluke? I know I've read about a clutch sticking problem.

Ended up towing back to my garage. Going to call up my local dealer and see if I can get a warranty claim on it.

Any advice from you guys on how to tip toe around this one, or is it the crap-shoot i'm expecting?

This happened to me when my slave cylinder went out. The slave cylinder is specifically included in the warranty.

Even with extensive modifications?

Obviously this type of failure of the fluid power system is not directly related to the power level, however i'm sure they'll try to pitch that. Hopefully when I tell them I smelled friction discs glazing up as I limped off of the street I'll get a new clutch too.

Thanks Again Guys!

Sounds like the slave gave out or maybe you busted the line.
You are screwed on getting them to pay for it. You have to be ready to pay for your own repairs after you start modding.
