I'm no expert...ask some sponsors/tuners..."If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is"...good luck...hang on to your money for a while...hold off til you get more info.

Here's how that works. You can get 60 hp and more than an additional 5 mpg by replacing your car's computer with that of a Geo. What they don't tell you is you have to replace the entire rest of the car with a Geo as well. But you will get at least 5 more mpg and a total of 60 hp. And the whole thing will be worth about $70.

Sorry, I'm feeling sarcastic today.

If it really was a serious question, no it won't work.

Since it says it only plugs into your intake air temp sensor, it would be able to make your car super lean or super rich but it wouldnt know when to dump more fuel bc its not hooked up to ckp, map, maf, nothing! Just IAT! What's that gonna do ya?

It's a good way to wreck your motor. It tricks the inlet temp sensor so it adds more timing. Problem is these cars ussually have to much timing from the factory. So these lead to detenation.

This gimmick has been around forever. I bet alot of people buy them.

There used to be a well known thing that a bunch of people bought that was called a hypertech chip..as far as I was told from buyers it worked so why couldn't this? I am not saying 5mpg and 60hp, the hypertech chips usually claimed +15 and 1-2mpg

These aren't the ECUs, PCMs, ECMs ,whatever you want to call them, of yester year that require Programming binary information to an E(E)PROM that was removed from ECU. WHat a bunch of crap...

I had a hypertech chip on my 1993 Z-28. I don't remember if it made a large difference, but I know it wasn't anywhere near 60hp.
