I think that there's a chance that the IRS in the Camaro would be able to handle more power by virtue of being designed as an IRS car, unlike the Cobra. Again, I'm basing these statements off of my prior understanding of those models and encourage any insight

I'm with you on the slicks though. I might consider some ET Street Radials, but that's about it. It's not like they wouldn't be good enough, LOL.
I believe you are correct. The 03/04 cobra chasis was built for a Solid Axel. The IRS was adapted to those cars. My 04 was putting down 509rwhp / 520rwtq and the IRS was holding up find. Some had 600rwhp and it was holding up fine.

I for one think we will be fine .. however, it will get interesting with some very sticky tires to see how the halfshafts hold up. Another item that I bought for my 04 cobra was what they called an IRS Brace, it would re-inforce the pumpkin as they were known to get nasty cracks .. Hopefully the GM IRS doesn't have this problem.

Brian, I'm sure your above statement is music to many ears.
Thanks!

I see; cool. Look at how many early GTOs and CTS-Vs were munching rears because of wheelhop and such. I know that GTOs benefited greatly from the bushing kits from the likes of BMR and such. I think the staggerred shafts are going to help with the hop too, so I think we're going to be alright. I do recall 'Vettes getting those braces too and think they couldn't hurt us either

Well, for the 03/04 Cobra's, adding a brace on the pumpkin (~$120 if I remember correctly) pretty much made the pumpkin bulletproof (zero failures). Otherwise, it is not uncommon to crack open the cover because of wheel hop or warp it to where it has nasty leaks.

AH! Well - I'm sure someone will come out with a kit for us. I'll definately be looking at that

I ordered the kit but I was wondering what injectors and tuner does it come with? I am very excited to get this on my car!! It has been a dream to actually order and get the car but with this Magna Charger it will be beyond what I could have hoped for.

This kit is looking really good on all the cars it's going on.

I'm wondering if CARB certification has been acquired yet...

Cool

FWIW - When I bring up KB or Whipple (Screw-types) I'm not trying to take away from you guys. I know you've been active on other related boards and hoped you'd visit here too, which you have been. I'm just interested in learning as much as possible; I'm not trying to take anything away from you guys

Do you guys think you'll bring a 1900 to the market and any ceritification for it too? I know that you've posted it's a little better on the bottom end, and considering your founder's stance on SC size, if it's going to make 600 RWHP without sweating, maybe a little extra low-end power may make it sweeter. For someone like me, who's looking for a good all-around package, and not peak power only, I'd find any and all information helpful. I've visited your website many times and just love any new information and developments.

Thanks

No problem, I will pop in quite often to answer questions.
and do not forget that GM has put the TVS2300 into the 2010 ZR1 ! If I am not mistaken the ZR1 touts the LS3 to get the 2300.

All Hedrix-Engineering axles are made with different size bars to tackle the wheel hop.Hendrix-Engineering was the first to bring this system to the aftermarket years ago, there will be followers but we will always be the leaders

The LS9 is not an LS3 with a supercharger

You are VERY mistaken.

The LS9 in a ZR1 is nothing like a LS3... and that's not even getting into the difference between the LS9 supercharger and a TVS2300.

What would be a good set up with this on a stock Ls3 or L99, meaning injectors etc, to atleast try hitting 600HP to wheels.
