Adams metal polish on PC pad?

I have an idea, and tried googling it and cant seem to find anything. It seems so simple & effective and since nobody apparently does it, I must be overseeing something here but...

Could I get one of the 4" focus pads and use Adam's metal polish on it for a chrome bumper/trim? I realize that once I use it for that I should ONLY use it for that. That being said, which color would be the best?

It would be ran with a PC.

Absolutely! Assuming its actually chrome and not the faux chrome plate/paint stuff that is used on a lot of newer vehicles.

I have a couple of old pads that aren't much for paint polishing anymore, but I use for metal polish. I usually take a sharpie and mark the edge so I know which ones they are in the batch. Stick to a white pad... thats about all that'll be needed.

That leads me to the next question, what if its plastic "chrome"? What product is to be used on that?

If its the faux chrome you pretty much treat it exactly like paint.
