What type of oil and how many quarts?

Im sure this is in a thread somewhere but I couldnt find it. But my first oil change is coming up. What type of oil do I need to get and how many quarts do I need? And what type of oil filter?

Pg 11-2 of the 2010 owners manual. If you didn't get one with the car go to the chevy website, download it and RTDT....

I believe in its capabilities from personal use with oil analysis reports backing up my OCI's. Besides, I know more than most cut and paste Amsoil dealers which are at least 95% of them.

Mobile 5w30, 8 quarts in the pan and fill the filter before install on my LS3.
I always fill the new filter, that way the engine has oil pressure ASAP.

I seriously some ppl should not do their own maintenance it is also writin on the oil cap capacity can be found in the manual
