OK, I read through several threads to inquire about the DRLs/Fog light harness. I even checked out your site Ofer but I am still unsure which P-n-P harness I need.

I have the 2SS/RS model and would like the DRLs to work as normal and the Fogs come on with the headlights, would it be this harness from your site?

http://www.gen5diy.com/index.php?rou...&product_id=82

Is there a P-n-P harness and inside light switch (actual ZL1) that will work as the ZL1?

That will do what you want, you can get the other harness and add a switch but you cant use the ZL1 switch with out reprogramming the BCM.

Your body shop can make it line up, the cowl lines are wider on the ZL1 bumper.

my body shop tells me they are worried about it not matching up and if it doesnt then they would make me pay a lot more for them to match it up... how hard is it for them to match it up? what exactly needs to be done. i have a dilema here. i will most likely get this if it is really easy to get the fascia to line up well with everything else, but i need better answers than "you're body shop can do it" please

If the body shop cannot sand down two lines and build two lines up you need to never use them. It's very easy the bumper it self fits perfect.

This is a easy job. The bumper is a perfect fit, the only issue is the cowl lines lining up between the bumper and hood. Doing this is also easy and most shops only charge an extra $100 or so to do it. Any competent body shop can do this swap very easily and if they can't then run away and never go back. If they can't do this simple task then I would hate to have them do any real body work.

Here is the new FRL, It lets you reuse your fog lights and by doing so you dont need to buy new DRL's and a new GM front harness.
