Stereo Question
Anybody do rear deck speakers on 11 SS with back up sensors??? I am using LC6i for hi lo converter but getting humming sound on remote start from rear sub,Hellllllp,
Part 2 of question I am getting ready to have a JL Audio system (Stealth 12) with c3 and 6x9 0n the deck I am concerned because there are 4 wires going to each speaker and only 2 on new 6x9s not too confident in stereo install shops anymore after I asked my gut and he said HMMMMMM. any thoughts on this would b greatly appreciated.. |

The humming sounds like grounding issue. As far as an install shop I would check with the guy/gal and be sure they warranty thier work. You don't want just any jaggo installing in your car. What if something is wired wrong? Then your car goes down in the blaze of glory

i hear ya, I actually orderd the stealth Mod, paid or it and everything then they said its for convertiables, now im putting the Stealth 12 in and they are unsure of how to wire rear deck speakers.. Crazy

Please let me know how this turns out. I just bought an LC6i to get rid of the thump when my sub amp turns off. Also, since I plan on replacing the BA amp and all my speakers, I figured the LC6i was the best bet for keeping the factory radio. I plan on installing the LC6i between the head unit and the Boston amp, meaning the Boston amp will be getting its signal from the LC6i.

Anyone unsure about how to wire a set of 6x9's would not be getting my install work.
