Thumbs up Wounded American Soldiers!

Hello fellow Camaro owners, as we all know by our cars, we love america. I am a high school student who is part of a group of kids who is having a 24 hour lacrosse game in baltimore, maryland to raise awareness and money for our troops who risk their lives everyday to make sure we are safe. All the money raised from the event will be directly given to the Wounded Warrior Project. Since most of you will not be able to play because you probably do not play lacrosse, unless you do you are more then welcome to come to Boys' Latin and join the record breaking lacrosse game, you can just donate very easily through this link. shootoutforsoldiers.com

Thanks guys, for those who donate or have any thoughts about this, post your name under this and I will give you a shout-out!

ALL MONEY IS GOING DIRECTLY TO THE WOUNDED WARRIOR PROJECT, PLEASE DONATE TO SHOW RESPECT TOWARDS OUR TROOPS

GOD BLESS AMERICA

But my car was made in Canada!

On a side note to anyone reading this : If you are donating money, make sure it goes to the Wounded Warriors Project and not to the Wounded Warriors Family Support.

The Wounded Warriors Family Support set up a website almost exactly the same as the Wounded Warriors Project in order to get money off donations from people intending to give to the Wounded Warriors Project. They were sued by the WWP and were told to shut down, but they didn't. They also owe WWP $1.7ish million dollars and seem to have no intention on paying.

Here's a write up about their recent activities on Jalopnik.

BUMP - Great event, great cause. Best part is it's primarily student-run and organized.

BUMP this again. This year's event will take place June 13th-14th, 9AM to 9AM. Link below...

All money does goes to the WWP and not WWFamilySupport.

This is also an entirely student run/organized event. Last year they raised over $120k and made national news in the lacrosse world. This year it will be held at a larger venue and will hopefully raise significantly more money. If you're in the Baltimore area stop by and check it out, if you're somewhere else, follow the website for updates and consider donating.

Really cool to see our young kids doing great things!

Also, maybe a mod can change the thread title to "Shootout for Soldiers - Wounder Warrior Project"?

The title as-is is pretty misleading...
