Are you able to pay for the difference between prices in warrantied items?

I.e. New dash but pay for the difference to get the zl1 sued insert?

usually not. My point was if they just replace the insert, the whole dash doesnt have to come out.

you can always just order them and buy them, seems like a good resolve for the issue.. but not sure if the same issue will come up or not..

Brandon, just wondering if you've heard anything from Chevrolet about a fix for this problem. It seems to be a wide spread issue that would warrant a TSB once a solution has been created.

Thanks

I got a ZL1 and it has the bubles under the suede. Has to be a glue problem.

Since they didn't show a picture of a Camaro's dash it's probably the same as all the dashes that go to the 5th Gen Camaro. I've got one for a 2010 and it doesn't go down that far to cover up where your Camaros are coming apart.

got a call from gm, they just told me to get it replaced and that they will call me in a week to check up on it...i told them its gonna keep happening and I'm gonna keep complaining. my dealer looked at me like i was crazy that i wanted to replace the part...well I'm gonna keep asking them to replace it until they get tired of paying to replace it and find a fix. waste of time and gas.

I apologize with the experience you had at the dealership. If you would like, I would like to set up a case with GM Customer Service to see if there are any available options to you. Please send me your first and last name, address, phone number, VIN, mileage and involved dealership.

I look forward to your reply!
