2012 ZL1 Now @ Hennessey Performance for HPE700 Upgrade

Our client took delivery last night and dropped the car off at our facility just west of Houston this morning.

Stay tuned for baseline chassis dyno numbers as well as 1/4 mile acceleration numbers. Pics and videos to come soon.

I know lots of guys who don't bother with that. I know several engine builders that say loading up the car to seat the rings is what really matters on the newer motors with roller cams, etc.
I played nice for a little while then threw it on the rollers. Do it with all my cars and trucks. To each their own.

This guy must have lots of toys to drop his new baby like that right after birth!!! Should be a great build!

As if the stats on the ZL1 are not bad enough.....

Still, if I could, I would be doing a Hennessey upgrade to my new (30 miles on it) camaro as well. Can't have just one guy up here in Alaska with a Hennessey upgrade.

So guessing since the ZL1 is already at 580hp a HPE700 upgrade is cheaper than SS?

I'm very interested to see what differences, if any, result between their CTS-V builds and these.

yeah would be interesting to see how much (if any) extra HP they can squeeze out of the ZL1's LSA as I think stock it pushes 24 more HP than the CTS-V LSA. Hennessey has the CTS-V (V700 upgade) listed at 707bhp.

Nice. Looking forward to it. Last night on a rerun of Battle of The Supercars they had your 1000 hp Viper vs your 1000 hp Ford GT. It was very cool except the Viper kept having the brakes lock up.

I saw that also. Besides the brake issue on the Viper, they were some friggin awesome machines!

Not interested in the HPE package numbers, but I really want to see the stock 1/4 mile times and dyno numbers.
