Sneaky. Not enough to beat us, looking to humble us with some mods? BTW I think your car looks brilliant in pics. Hope to see it on the street one day. Heading to the Indy or F1 this summer?

I thought you could press and hold the T/C button and turn everything off like the SS ...

I want to leave all the electronic stuff off. I really don't like the car driving itself. To me the electronics are kind of annoying. May use them if the wife is driving, thats it.
I hope they can be turned off completely or tuned out with a tune.

It will smoke them for about 20 feet and then you feel the computer taking over. You have to turn trac and stab off in order to get to P5. So I don't know what else to turn off at that point.

I'll be honest, I have read the manual and its still a little confusing about the modes and how you engage them, but Im a little slow...

You need to press and hold the far right button T/C for about 5-7 seconds and it will turn off everything.

^^^

Be careful, I know my SS will get all kinds of slideways ...

And be careful of some of those curves on Clarkston Rd ... I lost a couple good friends there in the 70's

I'm begging you not to......

Each week we seem to have another Camaro wreck posted on this site - and every week it's a car with the Stabilitrak turned off.

Don't take my word for it - talk with the journalists (the ones that really know how to drive) about the algorithms that have been built into the ZL1 - -

Remember: Accidents are exactly that - something that wasn't anticipated......you may save your life and the lives of those around you.

For the sake of argument that you ARE this supreme race car driver , you still can't predict the other drivers around you in their sedans, SUVs and minivans will do in a split second. These nannies are there to save your a** in situations like these. Take the nannies off when you on the track if you want to, but keep some of it ON on the streets please...

Agreed with the above posts. I have every intention of starting at the lowest setting to really learn how to drive this car properly.

Smart advice. This big lug of a car was turned into a ballet dancer by some very smart engineers. Turn the safe guards off and you may have to deal with a big fat drunk falling about instead.

You are spot on, thanks. I can now burn the tires as long as I want. Thanks. I will say that this car is faster than I thought it would be and I'm very impressed. My drag car ran 8.60's and I didn't think this car could impress me, but it certainly does. I agree on keeping the nannies on while driving around town. I could not be any happier with my car.

I will say this much, I have cycled through all of the modes and I am still confused as to what some of them do or how to utilize them to their fullest. i am 44 years old and have done some dangerous stuff in my life because of my job requirements but I will say this best show some respect or it may come back to bite you.

Thank you! This will only make the surviving cars more valuable as the war of attrition progresses

Sorry, I waited a LONG time for this car, I plan to stick between 1 - 2 - 3 so both of us can stay together for a long time.
