Facebook Camaro Convertible Problems Group

Many of you with convertible problems have joined up on Facebook and become a member of a group I started a little over two years ago to address all the problems with the 2011 and 2012 Verts. We have our own GM rep in the group now named Kelly who is helping those out who need it. This forum is great but sometimes posts are missed and they turn into a totally different direction. I set up the group for those that are not enthusiasts or may not come here often.
If you would like to join it here is the link, if not I understand. And mods, if I am in the wrong for posting this, I apologize. I just thought it could be another way for disgruntled owners to be heard.

Hey William, thanks for the assistance you have given me on my Top. I am having a problem not with the car now but in trying to get an extended warranty on my top.

I was just notified my extended top warranty was approved and I should get the paperwork in about 10 days.

Is that something you paid for? Or was it in response to previous issues with your top?

Don't have to pay for it. Its something that is on a case by case basis. A lot has to do with your dealer stepping up for you I am sure.

Haven't had any significant top issues. I've been very hesitant to do the top enhancements.
Yet the bumper to bumper warranty is coming to an end.
I don't want to create problems, that aren't there.

If you haven't had issues then I suggest leaving it alone, dealers tend to create more problems than they fix on our tops. That is what happened to me. I had one small complaint and they decided it needed a new top... Big mistake...
