It may be just ONE CAR, but if it was a 11.8 there sure wouldn't be anyone saying, "it's a freak, or it's just ONE CAR."
but, to be fair, I still see 12 flats from a manual in good weather/driver. 11.3 on street tires? Too much busch light buddy? I'm on my first, I'll let you know how the next ones go. |

Look at the dyno curves.....something is up with the Hen car. Like said before....knock retard or something else going on at 4500 rpm. That'll kill your trap times for sure.

FTR, a novice driver in an SS was getting about 13.4s all day long.
About .3 seconds above the magazines times. Not sure who is driving it but I'm not going to put any stock in these times. Not long now we'll know what this car does on average. |

Agreed. There should be no more than a 20-25 rwhp difference between the manual and 6-speed. At least that is the difference we see on CTS-V's.

Everybody forgets this car shoujld not really be faster than the current GT500fact it is heavier. Everybody is just hoping it is. I feel like if they correct the 50lb loss of tourqe at 4500rmps those time will drop for sure. on a dyno that only shows once in the quarter mile that hits ever gear. If that dyno sheet is a reflection of how that car is running currently under load something is up.

I thought there was a journalist that ran a 12. flat in a manual in mode 5....

So was looking at the 2013 GT500 and noticed the times are almost right at the ZR1 corvette's times, to beat the mustang GM would literally have to beat their flagship sports car at half the price. Thinking that maybe GM is purposely holding back the camaro.
