This would probably force me to lose my engine cover.

Having looked at your avatar pic, I've kind of cringed at the prospect of you taking that cover off to support these mods :(

I suppose you can put it up in the workshop or pool room, where it would be safer I guess

Hopefully I've replied to everyone who's requested a PM, if I've missed anyone please let me know

I should have some more time later on to write some more tech insight about this product and the Vararam

Basically the Vram works by capturing air at one of the slowest points of the vehicle around he stagnation point, where pressure is highest (same principle of the plenum spacer). This is based Bernoulli equation

Here is a REALLY good practical article on the topic

Who cares how vararam work LOL All I know is that my butt dyno approve 100% with my vararam and with the 25mm insulator. I'm not going to sit here and say is the same feel as when I first installed the 25mm insulator but my butt dyno so far agree that the throttle response is definitely there. I don't even know what dead spot mean any more LOL.

Here are some pics I was able to pull it off my memory card. I have tons of more including some vararam pics with the 25mm as some peoples have asked but for some reason some of the pic files look like it got corrupted oh well.. I can always take more pics.

Very nice. It looks good. Just curious on dyno numbers now.

Extra plenum volume are usually good for another 5-10hp on average mild N/A setup. Boosted applications and bigger engines can have even more benefit. Every engine is different and who knows how well our DI LLT will adjust to it. Even if the plenum spacers doesn't show too much power gain, the main benefit to have bigger plenum area is less pressure drop caused by less air momentum which can help with equal air distribution into each cylinder creating less enviroment for possible kr that our LLT is very susceptible naturally from the factory. The theory behind the hump on top of the plenum cover is the same principal.

I guess we will find out what the dyno will say about it net week, but even if I get nothng on the dyno, less kr is not a bad thing

PM me price for one shipped to 19901..

So for us that have the Black ICEsolator and add this, would we totally lose the option of the engine cover??? I mean if this is 12mm and the Black ICE is 9mm and some change (cant remember exactly how much), that would be close to 22mm.. So no engine cover???

Also, Would a Strut tower bar be possible with this set up??? I am looking at BMR for one so I want to know what I can and cant do after this mod is installed.

Well you have my attention!! I am kinda part time these days but after reading this thread I am interested. I would like to see some numbers though. I understand the logic, but I would like to see some numbers to back it up somehow.
