That's EXACTLY why I trade him vehicles whenever I get a company car. Let him drive my 5th gen for the week while his rusted out Chrysler mini-van (otherwise known as the rusted out Shaggin' Waggin') sits in the parking structure. It's so bad that we don't have to worry about any thugs trying to steal it while it sits in the parking structure in downtown Detroit

On a side note - trading vehicles last time worked really well for GM. The point of giving employees a company car for a week is to be GM Ambassadors - we're meant to give our friends and family a more personal experience test driving whatever company car we bring home. A few months ago when I was going to have a company car, I let my dad have the 5th gen for the week while his van sat in the parking structure. I had a CTSv ( ) for the week. During that one week of my mom and dad having the 5th gen, they contacted Becky D @ Rodgers Chevrolet and bought a 5th gen Camaro for themselves! The day I drove the van back to their house to pick up my 5th gen was the day Becky D drove their new car straight to their house to deliver it and get their signatures on the paperwork. Granted, the point was to help promote the vehicles we take home for the week, but hey a sale is a sale afterall!

BUT - I came here to say that I was VERY HAPPILY surprised when I thought "You know I haven't checked the tracking status since I got the e-mail on Friday..." so I opened the tracking status to make sure it was on schedule -- much to my delight FedEx shaved a day off of the original delivery date and it's out for delivery TODAY!

ok i installed the TB for the 2012 v-6 Camaro ......very easy install and already shipped back core.....my review of the RX team is very good ...i like that they answer your questions and dont ignore you like others do......the best way to describe the TB is to say it makes car respond like a high end motorcycle....what that means is, you give it the gas in any gear in any situation its going to respond!!!!before NEW TB you would have to down shift to get the car to respond like I wanted it to ..Its not a big big difference but its something you will notice,,,Nice MOD.....

I'm gonna have to agree with AKA-22 about no longer needing to downshift and search for the power. I had mine installed when I went and saw Tracy along with a catch can. Top notch all the way, and the part is amazingly good! Well worth it for the little power you get, and BEYOND worth it for how responsive the car is now! If there's any waiting to take off now it's so minimal you don't even notice it.

This alone gives the car a new feeling... I suspect if you add in a good tune and a cold air intake among some other things, your perma-grin is never going away when you step on the gas.

If you guys want more info on when units will ship you may want to call VMax directly if you think there is a delay. I went through this with my LS3 TB and after talking to Pete it helped explain everything a lot more clearly. In that case there were only so many original cores to use and once they are gone they were waiting for cores to come back. If you talk to Pete he will be very upfront with you. I am sure the TB is worth the wait as it is with all VMax products.

It's good to see that you guys are starting to get your TBs and confirming what I reported in my review: No hesitation, no lag, just power. Good stuff!

I know the wait must be killer for those that haven't received theirs yet but Tracey and Pete stand by their record of awesomeness and you'll be sure to get what you paid for asap.

I believe I ordered mine on 20120717; which likely put me in the last 5 of the first 20. Delivered yesterday, installed today. Instant gratification.

It is worth the wait/expense. I put mine in today and drove about 50 miles with it in so far. It doesn't transform the car into an LS3, but it does make the throttle more responsive. You'll feel more confident leaving the car in a higher gear (mine's an M6) and can expect better pick-up when you give it some gas.

My CAI brand intake/scoop/washer bottle relocation kit comes in Friday, so I'll be able to report how that makes a difference as well. My car was totally stock before today.

I have to deal with a lot of local traffic (with a standard transmission), which means I need 2nd gear to feel a bit more like 1st when I'm going ~20-35. With my aftermarket combo I have more power, but still a bit sluggish on the 2nd gear from 20-35 (1700-2700 rpm) during city traffic slow-then-go. After installing the VMAX (in about 20 minutes after clockout) driving through about 20 minutes of rush-hour today I believe got what I was looking for out of the PTB.

P.S. I corrected the hose arrangement on my RX Catch Can shortly after taking the photos, so no need to point out my brief moment of idiocy.
