Ok, thanks. So we're just talking a few bolts to remove and replace and maybe an electrical connection - that about it?

Sounds like another excellent 30 minute mod.

Just to keep it fresh and remind those who preordered....

The LFX TB Test car is hitting the Dyno Satruday AM. All LFX TB's are ready to ship but will not leave until there is solid (dyno) info to back all the units up!

Look for tracking numbers in the next few days guys and hope that everybody in the LFX community will enjoy these just like all their LS3/L99/LLT brothers and sisters have been!

Thanks,
Ivan

Sounds great to me! I was worried it'd arrive Saturday when my wife is home If it arrives during the week I can hide it before she sees it - just like I have to do with my diecasts that keep showing up

Yep, that's the long and short of it. I myself don't have to get my hands dirty thanks to Tracey and Pete but I had my head under the hood watching the whole process and it's very quick and painless. Easier than an intake install I would say.

Quick side question, where did you find the engine picture? I so must have it. Would look awfully nice as a poster too.

I'm super excited to be heading back down to Palmetto to get the testing finished this weekend and see the new RX shop. It was looking good with the rough cut before and I can't wait to see the results of the finished piece.

Thanks. I'll probably be getting in on the next batch. I'm sure Tracey will let us know when more are available.

There may very well still be a few left unspoken for on the current batch if you want to get in now. He said there were 5 or so left as of yesterday afternoon.

Thanks for the link! Gotta love those cut-away pictures.

OK!!! Final release testing is complete. I will post the dyno graphs shortley, but we made a solid 9 rwhp gain and 5 rwtq....and the dead spot is 100% gone, throttle response is very noticeable and the car feels totally different!!!!

We begin shipping next week.

Point of the mod is to get rid of the dead spot, which Tracey says they have accomplished. That's reason enough to purchase it now. The graph showing the horsepower curve is just the extra gravy, but definitely shouldn't be the deciding factor.
