I love it when I talked to a dealer and they say something like "nobody is selling these for MSRP" and "yes we are marking it up." I refer to this as tripping over dollars to pick up pennies. Dumb mentality but within their right.

I tried to place an order with them in Dec, they never contacted me... I guess because I asked for a ZL1 at MSRP... it's all good, as I have my Z coming this month, so no love lost... just hope it sits on there lot until Jan and they get hit with the taxes on it...

If i wasnt so tied up in the new twin turbo motor for my truck I would go in there get my military pricing on the damn thing and my usaa discount just to F them over

Post #3 above references ZL1's at Mac Haik Chevrolet in Houston. I've taken several runs at the black one on their website. It is in route from the plant. I was willing to buy the car today but the dealer wants a market adjustment. I have found several cars in the South and all these dealers with cars avaiable are a bit greedy. It's within their right to do it but they are in the minority. I don't understand the mentality.

No big deal for me. I will just wait for mine.

David Maus Chevrolet in Sanford, FL is aking $3k aboove MSRP plus the Nitro, window tine, and paint crap total $4k over MSRP Hoipe the car sits. Sad part is they said they would not be charging over MSRP yet the did so much for the saying "Well never love your business over price"

"Sold" orders should DEFINITELY have priority over "Stock" orders! Any other way doesn't make common sense and is totally unfair to someone desiring to order a car...franchise law, or not!

Dealer just has to tag the order as SOLD when he orders it. GM doesnt know whether it really is or not.

This dealership ordered all 3 of the Allocations they were given for Stock the 1st one was a black M6, exposed CF, blakc wheels sitting on the lot, they have an AGM A6, black wheels enroute, and a 3rd at 3400. Again all unsold with a $3k markup as of today.
