The salesman messed up when he sold me my Camaro. I didn't wait for the survey. I contacted the GM that day and explained what had happened to me. I also let him know that how I would fill out the survey and that I was a member of a lot of message boards with over 200,000 members is the general area that I would let know what had happened. He gave me almost all the accessorys that are available free of charge plus free oil changes for a year. I am happy with them now.

Call his manager. What he did is messed up. They need to deal with him before it happens to another customer.

I just filled mine out as well. Not a great buying experience except for the car...My salesperson asked me in email to fill out "completely satisfied". I replied and said I could not do that and he knew why, not a reflection on him, but the dealership as a whole....they lied (more than usual) and other various fraud like tendencies...I wasn't going to fill it out at all until he asked me to do it as completely satisfied. I am not going to lie, but filled it out honestly and apropriately for my sale. I hope the dealership calls me complaining.

I would call the GM if not the managing partner...

Not everyone has the time or courage to call a manager or confront a salesperson, that's why they give out simple surveys...so you can tell them what was good and what was bad. It isn't the customers fault if the system they use also uses those surveys in ways that hurt their business

My dealership saleperson had the audacity to tell me how he wanted the survey to be filled out. After spending 40K on my first Camaro needless to say, I was in no mood to be instructed.
I put down my exact thoughts on my purchasing expierence. Nobody and I mean nobody tells me what to think or say after spending 40k.

My salesman was very nice and informative. Even had he not been nice, I wouldn't have sweat it because this guy was a 6'5", 300 lbs black guy who could knock me down with a hard stair if he chose to. He looked like a football player wearing a nice suit and tie.

He could be 7ft Chinese SUMO wrestler, if he was not up to par. I would tell him face to face and complete the survey

no he didnt screw anybody over. the guy got a bad report, because he was bad. its as clear and cut as that.

I'm not sure that they can or do, but maybe the dealership records outgoing calls... if so and you complain to the Manager, they could approach him and say they heard it on their own.

Well, you're both incorrect about that. Outgoing calls, no. Incoming calls, yes, they are all recorded.

Actually MANY dealerships (Including mine) record all inbound calls.

I use them as a training tool.
