Who owns/(ed) a Jeep and/or a Camaro?

There seems to be a rash of members of the Camaro demographic and Jeep demographic that overlap on here. These people either:

1. Sold a Jeep before buying a Camaro
2. Sold a Camaro to get into a Jeep
3. Own both concurrently (it's like the perfect combination of speed, offroad capability and double impractability)

Are you any of the above? Discuss!

2011 Camaro SS and an '09 Wrangler X 2-door here.

I traded in my 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited AND my 2001 Camaro SS on my new SS. Does that count?

Had a '98 Wrangler in '05. Would love to have another one. I will be keeping the Camaro though. Once I get my wife car, I will have another Jeep. Maybe a Rubicon Unlimited.

I traded in an 06 Rubicon on my Camaro.

And now have a 04 Land Rover for work so clients don't have to get in the SS.

I had an '04 Wrangler Rubicon for 4 years. It was the green that looked like the Synergy Camaro and was best color car I ever owned. We both loved it. It was fun to be able to drive anywhere and there are times I wish I still had it. After 4 years I realized that I rarely drove it off road and for the amount of gas it burned I wanted to go fast again so I traded it for a 2008 Mazda Speed3. Three cars later I ended up with the Camaro which I plan to keep a lot longer. I still miss the Jeep and if I had a place to put it I might buy another one.

I traded in a Jeep for my Camaro as well. Was a 60th anniversary edition.

Actually...the H3 had the best chance of all post-AM General Hummers (think H1) of having offroad prowess.

The H3 had a short enough wheelbase to be useful in mild crawling situations, the chassis narrow enough for tight trails, good front/rear approach and descent angles. It was available with a G80 locking rear and traditional 4wd. Those things can climb like mountain goats, only 2nd to a vehicle that also has a locking front diff. The weak part was the Isuzu transfer case--the case itself was fine, but the electronics were a nightmare. I can still hear it engage (whir, whir, whir, click-CLANK!!!!), sometimes 2-3 times after pressing the button to get into 4-low. The inline 5 in most of those was a pretty stout engine, 242hp, great torque. The 5.3 was nice, but drank too much, and the trans (4L60E) was pretty weak to be behind that much motor.

The H2 was an absolute PIG. Tahoe/Burb parts aplenty including inadequate cooling, a wheelbase too long, a track too wide, too heavy, too much onboard shit, wimpy stock tires, and a host of idiots that thought they were "offroad ready" and then got them stuck in mud.

Most of the Wranglers you see around the Cleveland area have a rainbow sticker on the back.
