Can the zl1 black insert be polished? I have scratches on it from shipping and dont want to repaint!

is adams soap ok to use on it? I may could have a stripe put on it?

Yep. Soap, detail spray, waterless wash are all fine to use on a matte finish... you just don't want to apply waxes or use any abrasives (polishes/compounds) on it.
