To all other deployed service members.

Would I be the only one to go insane if I didn't have Camaro5 to browse after work hours? May only get a few hours a day for downtime/personal time but C5 is enough to put me at ease after a crazy day at work.

when i was deployed the stupid spawar computers would never work. If they did it would take about 5mins to load a page. So i resorted to lifting weights lol. I also want give a "oorah" to all members of the military from past to present.

Nope, your not insane. While I was in Iraq, I would come to camaro5 everyday even though I didn't own one at the time.

Can't wait for your safe return either!

It's getting kinda quiet around here by not hearing those quads coming down the street.

Are you at Ft Hood? I have no particular reason of wanting to know other than that I'm native Texan. Appreciate your service to the best F**king country on earth.

To everyone that complains about someone parking next to them, someone that didn't wave at them, someone that rev'd their engine at them, or people upset because their trim level gets no respect...............

Our service members would love it if THAT was all they had to be concerned about.

Right now, many of them are in harm's way all over the world, or facing the ever present potential of knowing that they might be deployed.

Sorry to interrupt the usual Facebook "What did you name your Camaro" crap, but we take our Patriots for granted.

When I was in Al Asad all I did was look into Camaros and this site... when I came home, I bought my Camaro... then, within about 3 days, already started modding and making it my own! (Stationed on Ft. Lee, VA now, ... not the best base I've been on for sure. Especially for Navy...)

So, so grateful for what all of you that serve do. Thank you.

I'm also glad this little corner of the net is a calming getaway.

Al Asad, huh. Thats where my wife was at. Very nice base. I was in Mosul. We both got called out of the IRR. Luckily enough I was able to get a fixed wing flight out to Al Asad for our 1st year anniversary.

Thanks everyone. I like a couple others do the same thing. Browse the forum and write down a wish list for when I get back. Sometimes it seems like you are gone forever and the list will get too long haha.
@kevin. I'm missin you guys pretty bad too buddy. First on my list when I get back is a detail party lol.

That's awesome! Glad you got to see her for the anniversary! What branch is/was she in? That base was run by Navy when i was there... (Hence why I was there, intalled the AFN cables)

Ah...I can relate. I am still out here in Iraq and I visit Camaro5 daily. Got my Camaro on my last RR (May) and will be home in 2 weeks to put on some MODs that have found their way to my house I have yet to drive it..so I am ready to get my hands on her.

Al Asad and Mosul - 2 places I know very well along with several other places.

Mad respect to our service members!
