Question Mama needs a new pair of shoes - Hankook Ventus? BFGoodrich?

Anyone had any luck with these? A bit cheaper than Pirelli, higher load rating though, ready to try something different. Not looking at the GMAX at this point. BF Goodrich might be another possibility?

Anyone got any thoughts?

I've had the Ventus V12 Evo on the front for several months and no issues....been quite satisfied with them. Was going to put them on the rear as well but they were on back order for so long I went with Nitto Invos..like them very much on the rear!
I would recommend the Hankook's for your RS!

I went with the Continental DWS last year. Love them so far. Can't notice a grip difference from the Pirellis and they should have double the tread wear.

I have had the hankooks on 2 of my cars. And I hate them. Very little grip and nt very long wear. But they are pretty cheap. I will go with conti or bfg next time I replace.

New shoes? How many miles? I got 35,000 on my P-zeros and just started thinking about new tires recently.

Thinking of going with NTB and getting the BF Goodrich. NTB has better prices as far as mounting ,balancing, tpms and disposal fee. Tire rack has good pricing on the BF's but with shipping, comes out about the same.I haven't seen any reviews(tirerack) on the BF's because I think it's fairly new tire for the Camaro.

25k on the rears. Fronts are still ok, will probably get 30-35 out of them.

I'm getting new tires soon, and I've decided on the Hankook Ventus. They have an $80 rebate now if you purchase 4 before June 30th, I think. I'm getting them from www.onlinetires.com. After the rebate, they'll be about $700 for the set shipped (245/45/20 and 275/40/20). That works out to $100-$200 cheaper than the BFGoodrich.

Please link me to where you're finding the right sizes. I can't find the 245's there! If you could link me to both that'd be fantastic, 'cause I can't find them. LOL.

Bought the BFG's 3 days ago. First impression is smooth, quiet ride. I liked the fact that Michelin is the parent company and hope for improved tire life. The 275 40's are only rated for 168mph and don't show as a replacemnt tire on BFG's website (but is listed on Tire Rack). Check the One up video at bottom of web page http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/bfgco...hubName=Sports Performance

The Hankooks aren't available anywhere in the country, dammit.

I just ordered General G-MAX AS-03's for the rear. The fronts still have another 5-6k miles left on the stock Pirelli's, so I'll replace them in the Fall.

Wondering what a difference these will make at the track. Guess we'll see!
