Oh I like this. What type of Dual Orbiter polisher do you suggest? I like buying tools.

I think it means don't use water for lubrication.

Use water to rinse it off if you drop it on the ground.

Speaking of rinsing, should this be rinsed off regularly in-between paint sections to make sure there isn't any grit particle being ground into the clearcoat?

I am confused slightly. With a clay bar the contaminates sink into the clay and somewhat keep the paint from scratching. When the clay is dirty you discard. How does it work with the scrubber? Is there a higher risk of swirling if you happen to pull something from the clearcoat right after you rinsed the pad? Thanks.

the clay lubricant will encapsulate the dirt and you can wipe off with a clean mf after you have done the panel.

I am also curious! But am worried it could do damage. I see you are selling with Adams detail spray. Does anyone from Adams have anything to say on this? I plan to make a Order of Adams stuff this week or next to start my paint correction and this has me thinking because I would like to start out on my daily drivers with the PC and then got to the camaro. But I don't really want to buy 3 clay bars!

Why would you have to buy 3 clay bars? A 200gram clay bar from Adam's is more than capable of claying 10-15 cars...at least. Unless is it SUPER trashed, or you drop the clay on the ground. Break the clay bar into 3 or 4 pieces and you're good to go.

interesting...but I will stay with the clay bar as it has always given me good results. A lot of work but no sense in changing something if it is working well.

I'm guessing at speed 1 it's not much different than gliding some clay by hand, but it sure seems to me that any accumulation of foreign matter will stay on the pad, and therefore can be transported easier to your paint. Clay at least "absorbs" the gunk. But if you were going to do a full polish anyway, a couple extra fine scratched wouldn't matter...

I must be use to a lot smaller clay bar. Last I got was from Zanio
and I don't think it was bigger than just for one car. Maybe I wasn't using each piece long enough. But I cut into about 8 small pieces and threw away after a few panels and glass. I will be getting Adams this time around.

So this is basically using the rubber pad to more or less grind off particles on the vehicle . As clay is just taking off the top layer of any grit on the car and not pulling it out of the paint . I would want to see more reviews but I would not use this if I was just going to clay an area and wax . You would have to polish as well imo . And on my black vehicles I will stick with clay .
