End link reinforcement.

Hey all, I installed the pfadt stage 3 kit, and used the end link reinforcements but reused stock end links. I had to unbolt my end link today to remove my struts (springs were popped out) and noticed the mounts were warped/bent. Has anyone else had this?
Here are the pics. I only have the one side out now, I'll check the other side in the morning.
They both should be straight across but both are pulled and warped.

Was all that oxidation present when you installed them?

I wonder if the original was was distorted prior to installing the new reinforcements? If so, torquing down the end link might form the new piece in the shape of the original.

I'm just finishing installing a Pfadt stage 5, including the end link reinforcements and I'll keep an eye on mine for this.

No they weren't, the car was only a few days old, and they were straight, got 1000 km's on it now.

Curious of the bmr reinforcements are better, they do look like they may be stronger. Found a cheap website for pfadt/bmr end links
