Very few FI vendors actually understand proper carnkcase evacuation noi matter how big the name. You will find the ones that have it right offer the RX dual valve oil separating system just for FI.....it is the ONLY system specifically designed to provide proper evac under boost or non boost operation. Most kits come with a setup that only addresses 1/2 of the operation and the results are eventual leaks and smoking issues.

Do a search on "proper crankcase evacuation for FI" to read more andunderstand it.

The PCV system is perhaps the most misunderstood system on todays cars and trucks.

Thanks, I have been reading the FI threads and the mentioning of your evac system,I should have been more specific when I asked about the "STS oil mess" quote. The reason I asked, aren"t oil leaks probable with "any" FI w/o proper evac once boost is high enough? Evac needed with just, say 5 or 6psi? Thanks, future FI LLT

Yes...proper crankcase evacuation is critical for any FI application thus the common problems.
