My Z has been at status 4150 since 6/19. I pm'd Brandon at Chevy Customer Svc yesterday to get a status and this is what he replied:
"I have checked your order status and I only show that your vehicle is at status 4D00 on hold at the plant. It does not list a reason for the hold; however, we do appreciate your patience. If you would like me to check the status next week, I will be able to do so. " Brandon Chevrolet Customer Service Anyone heard of a status 4D00? And I agree, why would GM invoice an incomplete car if the hold is for parts? I FedEx'd my buyer and finance contract to my dealer yesterday along with the rest of my deposit. My first car pmnt is set for 08/01. I hope we get our Z's soon cuz I dont want to be paying for a car I dont have yet

Too bad Chevy won't let us pick them up at the factory - mine would be nearly broken in by the time I arrived back home!!
Alex33x, I am in the same boat as you are with VIN #115 - the good news it's built before the summer plant shutdown, and so we wait...guess this is just a speed bump compared to the looooong wait for the '12s. |
