What will happen to Camaro5.com when gen 6 comes out?

As you all know camaro5 is aptly named because it's the camaro's 5th gen.

So will camaro6.com come out or will gen 6 just be added onto camaro5.com?

Hopefully Keep it as Camaro5 and add a 6th Gen part.... Have a forum format similar to the corvetteforum website

You would have general gen 6 section. Then you would have gen 6 zl1 section. Maybe gen 6 z28 section. Then a v8 section. A v6 section. Then a gen 6 marketplace. With one marketplace for sponsors. One for users. Then the marketplace divided into v6 and v6 and interior, exterior. Not to mention the DIY section. and etc etc.

It would be like having a forum within a forum a la forumception lol. Not as easy as "just adding one section."

It will be the same old site its always been.... except they might add a section for the 6th gens but more likely than not someone will start a completely different 6th gen exclusive site just for fancy sixth gen owners.

Yeah I think the camaro6.com website is already reserved but camaro5.com will stay the same I'm sure. Just add a 6th gen section for any 6th gen owners who want to hang out here.

The same entity that owns Camaro5.com owns Camaro6.com. I suspect the entire website will one day magically become Camaro6.com and all Camaro5.com traffic will be automatically redirected to the new URL. A seamless transition.

Honestly, I would rather have camaro5.com and camaro6.com not do that. Of course, links to camaro6.com on camaro5.com and vice versa would be totally fine, but I think that since it is a different gen and a most likely a pretty different car, that it would be a different website. That way the two sites stay less convoluted.

Otherwise everything just kind of starts overlapping and gets very confusing. For example, I went on a honda civic forum and noticed how confusing the forum was because of all the gens supported on that forum and thus all the sections within sections within sections.

Just direct the Camaro5.com and Camaro6.com domains to the same page. I wouldn't imagine a huge re-vamp. It would feel a little weird to own a 6th Gen and do all of your searching on a forum that was seamingly geared for the 5th Gen.

I agree. With a new section in the "Other Generations" section.
