Stuck in Shreveport

Well we decided to detour from the Caravan and go to the Horseshoe Casino in Bossier City and now we get to stay a bit longer than expected.

Drove out of the parking garage this afternoon and discovered the RR tire was flat. Lucky for me Red River Chevrolet is literally right across the street. Of course no tire in stock so hopefully they get one tomorrow.

Damit... that's two tires in one month...

But they are both right side tires so I'm ready for the NASCAR track now..

The guys at the dealership laughed at all the rubber from Indy inside the fender wells...

Man, you're just having no luck with those expensive tires...

Time to trade it in...

And BTW, you never gave me that ride this weekend...or got a chance to sign the lithograph for me :(

C5Fest III Dealers Choice Award

I found this very special surprise laying on the seat of my car on Saturday. How cool is it to get an award from Becky and Rodgers Chevrolet. Joe, Becky and Maureen are some very special people to the C5 nation. It's truly an honor to show this one off with my car.

I'm guessing Becky liked the model and color.

mlee... what was the cause of the flat?

have u researched into any ideas that would make a good "donut" spare for those days you might get stranded?

Dilemma I've been worried about!

Something went through the tread and out the sidewall... No clue what is was and I didn't run over anything that I noticed.

I have no desire for a spare... gave up on that a long time ago for more trunk space. Try jacking up a ZL1 on the side of the road anyway. Cell phone and OnStar is my backup.

I'd say 2 tires in a couple months is about as bad as it can get. Let's hope you are good on tires for the future.
