Go to "search" above type in "program spare key camaro" it will take you to a link post on cam 5 where it was done successfully. Use the Google search not the other search feature.Good luck

The Key wil have to be cut to your new car for it to be programed. then follow this procedure.

Note:

To initiate, this procedure requires that 1 learned key be available.
A total of 8 keys maybe be learned to a single vehicle.
This procedure adds keys only. The procedure does not erase previously learned keys.
The keys to be learned must duplicate the mechanical cut of the current key.

1. With a previously learned key, turn the ignition ON.
2. Turn the ignition OFF and remove the key.
3. Within 10 seconds of turning OFF the ignition, insert the key to be learned and turn ON the ignition. The vehicle has now learned the new key and key.

do your self a favor......run by your dealer......that is if you have one with good customer service as they should hook up up at no charge and fix it in a minute or two at the most.

Problem solved

Glad to here you finally got the problem solved. Price not bad when I have heard earlier in 2010 they were charging $100-$200 dollars to cut and reprogram a key.Just goes to show you how availability and demand impact prices.Happy motoring.
