Daughter teaches me how to drive!

So here we are at the drags yesterday. A DA of about 4700'. We're in Utah so there is no air here. Driving my NA Camaro still trying to break into the 12's. My best run was a 13.005. So I got close. I decide to let my 20 year daughter who's never raced in her life have a shot. She races against a 650HP Maggie SS and the results were incredible. She runs a 12.7 and only loses to the Red SC Camaro by .383 of a second. She's a natural!!

She's driving the Silver Camaro.

I'll have to scan her time slip since I was so excited I forgot to zoom in on the boards. By the time I did they had blanked them.. :(

Will definitely be working the car some more and letting the daughters drive. One of my other daughters Alyssa who is 21 also wanted to run it and raced a local Pro shop owner. Two SIM camaro's and she beat him with a 13.0 flat. Here's that video. She got a terrible start too. My car is an auto and Jordan's was a Manual.

Awesome, glad it did! You can only imagine how I felt yesterday watching them drive for the first time. I was all adrenaline. In fact, it was more thrilling watching them then driving myself. Think I'll invest more time and money in making them drivers.

yup...awesome...I have girls 7 and 5 years old (soon to be 6yo)...they are already all "mustangs stink daddy". I'm so proud.

LOL. Well they should be great drivers then. That's one thing I didn't get to see which hopefully I will soon. One of my daughters lining up with a Stang. Not only will it be fun to watch them win but watch the driver of the Mustangs face when she gets out of the car, takes off the helmet and reveals that the driver is a she.

Yes, Sam did an excellent job! Thanks for the compliments. I will be down again for some Vegas drags for sure. My brother-in-law likes to race in Vegas too so I'm sure we'll see you around.

Any new mods on your Camaro?

She's mostly stock right now. I bought her on march 13th. still don't know which direction i want to go in. Whether FI or NA, so i'll be doing suspension/wheels and tires first. I just chopped off the mufflers and did straight pipe for now.

Sam doesn't do them lol. He said some local guys does them and Sam was just generous enough to get me this cover because my stock one got scratched during the build.
