Post emplacing subs

I have done car audio for a while at a younger age now that im older i have been out of the scene for a few minutes. I was curious on which way i should have my subwoofers facing? toward the front or toward the back of the car? Has anyone faced them forward and what is the result? Or is everyone just facing them back. I use to have a hatch back but thats long and gone now. So i am going to have a sealed 3/4 MDF box with 2x 12L74 with a 1x650 amp on each.

What are your thoughts?

Mine are faced forward. I like tighter more solid hitting bass. Some people like the loud rattle everything in the world bass. Your choice on what you want. Try it both ways and see what you like. Many threads on this debate. Just do a SEARCH.

before you go through the hassle of building your box and losing your pass through, you should check out subthump. I've got a single 12" in their drivers side enclosure, and it has plenty of bass
