Where to get touch-up dye for interior panels?

I just got my first scratch on my interior door panel and I'm looking for some sort of dye or paint that will match my black door panel but will also adhere to the plastic.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I've had my car for 2.5 years and this is my first scratch. I'm pretty bumbed about this so I wanna get it touched up pretty quickly.

Not sure where it's at, but maybe black shoe polish? ... if it's somewhere your clothing isn't gonna rub

I've not tried it, but they must have gotten the number from somewhere... could get the paint pen and try it in an inconspicuous spot (bottom edge of door panel, etc)

Google search turned up Sherwin Williams document that lists the same part number for a number of GM interiors... http://www.sherwin-automotive.com/Re...atibility.ashx

You might want to look at SEM interior dyes. They probably have a match.

That part number shows ebony gray. Is that the same name for my black door panels or is my black actually gray in GM's eyes?

If you're looking at the Sherwin-Williams info, I would take the grey with a grain of salt... but I have always thought the panels have a tinge of grey in them, not like piano black, ya know.

ORANGE U NV had a very inexpensive and very practicle idea. I know I've used it in other applications. Black shoe polish. Try it, it might just work.
