Top Down

Camile top has been down since Saturday! 80+ degree weather is exactly why I bought a convertible!

Yes I am so tired of all the negativity on here. The car is a bad ass machine, it is sexy as hell and deserves to be recognized as such. It appears that GM is trying their level best to make the top right. I love my car

What you don't understand is GM should not have to make the top right. They are at the end of the second model year and it is still wrong. Can't wait to see the posts from people with a new ZL1 Convertible that have problems. Dropping over 60 grand to have it in the shop for fixes.

Lets just leave this thread about people enjoying the warm weather with the top down.

And yes you can count me in. It was even up to 82 degrees up here in Detroit yesterday, and even warmer today.

It will be in the high 80s here in the mid-Atlantic tomorrow (Friday) and I am off.... So u know I will be off burning up some serious petrol in the Vert! Not even having to put my top down manually would prevent me from enjoying this awesome weather in this awesome car!

85 and sunny yesterday here in the Twin Cities. Half tank of gas burned all top down. The permagrin returned. I love my new car so much better than my last 2012 SS Vert.

It is good to hear everybody's out enjoying their convertibles in the sun! I'm interested in the 2013 BRM but saw just today that BRM won't be available for prod til early Aug? Ugh! Hard to picture waiting past alll the warm, beautiful summer days, esp when there's a 2012 IBM vert down the road....Guess I could stick my head out of my sunroof and pretend...sigh. Can't wait to join the ranks of happy Camaro convertible owners!

ETA: just spoke to Roy at John Elway (incredibly knowledgeable and helpful) and there's limited production submission for IBM in June, so I'm still hoping to get a vert before summer's gone!

Like many of you I love this car. Saved for some time as my extra toy. Still adding mods to this car and I have alot invested. Hate to have to look each day and see if there is a problem with the top. Had the so called "fix" done a few weeks back. Still getting some wind current from the drivers window with the top up. I have to agree that since this model has been out over a year, GM should have corrected the problem already.

Plan on getting up early tomorrow. Taking my car in for it's first oil change. Temp should be in the 80's. Gotta get her ready for my cruise down to Destin in a week. I love cruising the coast with the top down.

You're just on the wrong side of the mountains. Had the 'Vert out top down the last three weekends.

Man, I get soooo many people that come over and tell me how much they love my vert! I can tell you I have my lid down almost every time I drive my car. The benefits of living in Savannah. If nothing else I can vouch for the reliability of the mechanism & motor! The car is a beast!

Love to have the top down. It has been a little over a year now and and I am still getting comments. People really do like the look of this car.

I traded a trouble-free '10 ABM hardtop (w/ 2,355 miles) for this '12 IBM Pandora's Box. Was I nuts to make the trade?
I wanted the darker blue, the soft top, the heads-up display, and the backup camera.

I may have made a mistake, but I the new car.

It was 85 here today I did not have the Camaro at work today. Got home at 7PM it was still in the low 80's so we took a short ride top down to get some fruit smoothies. The young cashier told us she loved the car.

I've been driving top down most of the winter (if you can call it a winter). As long as the temp is in mid-40's or above, crank up the heat! (seat heaters were on a few times as well)
