vvt-3 mpg
hey guys was thinking about getting the vvt-3 cam setup was just wondering how bad its hurt your mpg since its my dd

7 mpg in city/town with 3600 yank. Car is getting retuned thoe.

yea im sittin at 15.2 right now stock thats averaging 33 mph i have my headers exhuast and tb back in florida ready to get installed soon so i figured with that and the cams i might b cuttin that 15.2 in half :-(

Just get a supercharger and keep your mpg. Until you put your foot in it that is.

Lol, the MPG was fine for a few weeks then went to 7 mpg! Now the damn thing does not want to start up right. Not sure what happened to it. They said they are going to take care of it for free.

That sounds crazy. I wonder wtf happened. What happens when you try and start it? Sounds like pops has some major issues going on. Hopefully he gets fixed up soon!

It started that Sun before going to the track! Stalled right out 3 times. Then last night my Sister was stranded for 20 mins b/c it would not start at all after being in the store for an hour or so. Then Started. Today it started right up. Insane

The stall seems to be what influences the MPG far more than the cam itself. The tune should help keep the MPG reasonable to what you had before. I only lost 1mpg WITH a stall and a cam that is more aggressive than the VVT3.
I have a heavy foot and still get 14mpg... if you get 7, you drive like a nut case lol. If you are ALWAYS the first person at every red light, that is a clue.
