Camaro Two Shot Trunk Release Relay @ PFYC-PartsForYourCar

2010-2015 Camaro Custom Two Shot Trunk Release Relay

Has your trunk ever released for no apparent reason? It probably happened due to an unintentional press of the key fob's trunk release button. This special two-shot relay aims to solve that problem for you quickly and easily.

Installs in seconds and will make your car require two presses of the trunk release button rather than one.

Break and entry

Does anyone know of a secret trunk release? My storage was broken in to last night and they stole my compressor, floor jack and tools. They also somehow managed to pop my trunk open without setting off the alarm. There were no signs of forced entry in the trunk either. There's no key for a 5th gen only the fob to open the trunk, how could they have done this? I'm pretty sure I didn't forget to lock my doors.

It's easy using 1960s-1970s technology. Remove the wires from the trunk button on the door and route them to somewhere hidden that only you know about or would think to look and connect them to a new momentary switch. Now you have a "dead" decoy trunk release and an active one somewhere else, just make sure you lock the doors too.
