Replaced the seat covers

Well my seat cover, on the actual seat not back, developed a tear. I took it back to the dealership who arranged to have a new seat covered installed today. It looks good, but feels different. I don't know if this is psychological or if there really is a difference. The seam that runs across feels harder, and the seat has more of a bucket feel. It looks ok, but just feels different.

Has anyone else replaced the seat covers? Am I subject to psychological warfare with myself?

This is in relation to the cloth seats.

well it turns out that the odd feeling was them not properly fitting the seat bottom. I can actually pull the seat pad out a bid, which is causing the foam to move about.

Just wanted to finish off the thread for those that read this.

Car goes back on Monday to get fixed. This is going to be a long weekend.
