Dtrimpi's in SD too, he got his earlier this week. just the luck of the draw I guess. On my way home in a minute. Probably not going to the races tonight, but I will have these installed (if they're there). No biggie if they're not. Gives me something to wake up for tomorrow. LoL.

Where did you get the shifter boot from?

Looks great, very good quality. This is the way Chevy shoud have done the Camaro. Not having to search for the paddles anymore. Little things are what make a great car.

Shifter boot was from Chevy parts counter, it is just the standard Boot. Bolts right in.

Ok, I just got done taking a cruise to test the new paddles. Everything works great but I'm getting cut up from the sharp edges. Does anyone have a fix to dull the edges without screwing up the finish?

Yes, it looks like a few of them slipped out without verifying and smoothing down a few edges.
Sorry! I was so stressed and excited to have them delivered on time.
You can do like some members suggested: Sandpaper if you have or Nail File just the sharp edges (No need to uninstall).

Oh joy, shifters came in today. As others have stated they do have a bit of an "edge" to them. I used a nail file to round out the sharpness and that smoothed them out. After a short drive "M" mode is actually enjoyable now, no longer do I have to reach for those small buttons anymore. Only problem I have now is to re-learn where I can and can't place my fingers, I used to like to have them placed right next to the buttons.

They get Hot in the sun??? Just kidding.

I noticed that they got hot, but they cool much quicker than the Drake shifter.
It was 90 degree F when I left work today. Both the Paddles and Drake shifter were hot. But the paddles cool pretty quick compared to the Drake.

Haha you can say that again, my Drake shifter holds the heat like a fine teflon frying pan. Glad it's an auto otherwise I'd have 2nd degree burns all over my hands from shifting.

You will need to do two VERY CAREFUL SETS; 1, Change your avitar to a rainbow. 2, Go to the nearest CVS or Walgreens. Ask them for a box of Supersize Manjina Manpon's.
"IF YOU HAVE ANY ISSUES WHAT SO EVER"..... Go back and start over.
At last resort; You may need to contact a MAN with a sack to soften them with their hairy beanbag.

CHANGE THE AVITAR IF NOTHING ELSE, I know I can speak for the rest on this site.
REALLY....REALLY.............REALLY, COME THE FLOCK ON. SACK CHECK.
CPO BOATS; OUT
