Here is the video. Had I not run into my issue, it would have been a simple 5 minute install as it shows in the video.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=ezJnkYD9vYo

As I said before, Horizon was great to work with and really was interested in making sure I was satisfied with my product.

There is a single pin on each that you push out. It only comes out one way. I turned the wheel to get better access and visibility when I removed them and used a light mounted to my hat to see the pin hiding behind the paddle. Once it's out, the paddle comes right off (or flies off due to the spring tension in my case). To install the new paddles you just compress the spring and slide the pin back in.

so took the camaro to work today, paddle shifters work great, feel good, and i still feel a *click* when i shift. if any of u guys are like me ten o'clock and two o'clock is where i like my hand placement when i drive. its comfortable and just feels like i have more control (just a personal opinion). with the old tap shift buttons I would have to slide my hands down to 9 and 3 to shift then back up to the comfortable position of 10 and 2. with these new paddle shifters, i can remain at 10 and 2 and tap shift with my ring and pinky fingers. they dont get in the way when i turn the car, and i can still navigate the menu on the windshield washer stick behind the steering wheel. i watched a youtube vid about the hurst paddle shifters and from the looks of it they have tight clearence issues. and i dont know about the install for the 11' and on up models, but the '10 install was so easy your wife or girlfriend could do it. all and all, im very happy, hope this helps u guys

Thank you ragincajun24 for your nice review. You've answered a lot of questions I get everyday!

Yes, that's the main purpose of the Paddle Shifters is to be able to Downshift or Upshift much easier at any steering wheel position. Some people prefer the 10/2 , others like the 8/4 . Most important is that you can reach the Paddles at the tip of your fingers and you know they are there when you need to use them especially when doing so spirited driving, making a sharp turn and need to downshift. you wont be trying to look for those little hidden buttons.

Yes, the design and shape and the angles were all for a reason, they dont interfere with anything...

and on top of that, they look Good ! I get lots of compliments everytime someone sees them. Something we only see on a Lamborghini / Ferrari or Maserati....

Now driving in Manual mode is so much more fun !

Thanks vitesse motor sports for these aluminum paddle shifters! I must say after driving with these, i can actually enjoy driving my v6. It took literally 5minutes to install and they were able to meet up with me for personal pick up. Once again, thanks for such a fantastic product!!
