I just got mine in the mail today and they look great. Weather permitting I will get the Camaro out of storage this weekend and will get them installed ASAP. I have the feeling I am really going to love them.

I installed my paddle shifters today and then took my first ride of the year. The install took about 2 minutes and during the ride they worked great. Money very well spent. Thanks, I love them.

I installed mine over the weekend, and it is very worth it. I did however break the tabs of one of the paddle buttons when I first tried to put the paddle shifter on. I had to buy another paddle button as the paddle shifter kept falling out when it was depressed. All in all shifting is much more fun, and easier to do than the old paddle buttons. Great product.

Im thinking of ordering the vittese paddles (for 2011 camaro), the design looks excellent! I love the finger rest grove on the back, they look like they are made of two steal pieces with the 3 black screws in the button part holding them together, can that part be separated and removed? Because Im thinking of just epoxying ONLY the lever part to the existing plastic button-so there would be no need to pop off the GM button at all. Can anyone with a 2011 style set give advice on this?
Does this sound possible?
I just want to have this figured out before I order.
Thanks man!

I've got a 2011 with the paddle shifters. The problem with what you are thinking of doing is that the original plastic button is slopped towards the instrument panel. If you epoxy just the lever part of the paddle shifter to the button then it will be too far forward, IMO, and might interfere with turn signals, etc.

The other issue is that the epoxy will need to have both pieces sand papered in order to create a rough surface for it to bond better. Even with that the epoxy might not hold if you get over zealous while shifting.

I put them on as instructed and absolutely love the feel of them. It makes shifting so much more fun. Just my .02 cents.

Do yourself a favor a install our Paddles with their button part.
Not only because it's much easier but also the way it will look: From behind or from outside the car, I think it's a lot better to see all Aluminum as one piece instead of : Black plastic / Silver Paddles.

Im sorry, I dont understand what you mean by "...install our paddles with their button part."

My question is: Can your paddle design (for the 2011 camaro) be separated into two pieces by unscrewing the three black hex screws on the back?

Yes, it's possible by just unscrewing the 3 black screws.
