iPod Auxillary Jack Out?

Hi,

I have my iPod Classic plugged into my Camaro via USB. I love how it works and I can search my playlists through the car controls. Anyways...I leave it plugged in when I shut the car off. When I enter the car again and start it and turn the radio on to listen to my iPod...it tells me that the "Aux Jack Out" and I have to unplug and re-plug-in the iPod to get the car to recognize it. Anyone else have this issue? Is there something I am doing wrong?

Thanks,

I get the same problem too. I'm going to be going to the dealer soon to check and see if it's using the latest version. Updates usually fix little bugs like that..it did in my previous camaro!

Yep, it usually takes a few seconds for the radio to recognize that the iPod is plugged in.

What I started doing is that whenever I am about to turn off the car, I switch the source to the radio. The next time I get in the car, I switch to the Aux source by pressing it twice and the iPod comes up.

But, I am running the old version of the PDIM software...still need to get it updated.

Hmm that is interesting. My car was manufactured less than a month ago so I am assuming I have the latest software.
