BC Coilovers

I am lowered on BR type coilovers about 1.2" and dont seem to have much space between the top of the tire and the wheel well to go much lower. Nor does it seem on the coilover body that I have much space left for lowering (about 3/4" between the rings in the front)? The threads I see with the car lowered 1.5" all around, I don't see how that is feasible with what I am looking at regarding rubbing. Running stock 245/45r20 and 275/40r20 rear tires.

Anyone running these have comments/pictures on their ride height, wheel size, and rubbing?

What's your height from the bottom of the rim to the fender on the front and back?

I ran BC coilovers with about a 1.5" drop and 275 on 20x9 all around. No rubbing at all. Just watch how close you pull up to the curbs.

Awesome. How much space did you have left between the collars on the coilover for adjustment?

I have BCs about a 2" drop.
1. wheel offset can determine how much you can lower the car.
2. Camber Alignment (negative camber will help you tuck the tire, dont go crazy on the negative camber do.. -0.8 max or youll have tire wear problems.)
3. width if tire and wheel.

Im not sure on stock wheels..
but My setup is Zl1 replicas per GM specs
11" wide wheel rear with 295/35/20 michelins -----10" wide wheel front with 275/40/20

clearance is tight as a virgin in my car, but no rubbing

Nice ride!! Any more pics of it? Are the BC's maxed out with that drop or do you still have space between the collars to go lower if you wanted?

Thanks!!
I still had about 1/2 drop between the perches.
But i actually had to lift it about 1/4 all around because it was simply too low to be a DD.
Anyways...
Here is two other pics while it was still nice and low.

The spring rates are the factory bc br type coiliver rates. I can get pics soon and it's been around 200 miles. They do seem to have settled some for sure. I have about 3/4" between my collars up front left for adjustment and about 1-3/16" in the rear.

I ran mine a 1.5 with 275/315's. The only time I rubbed was the rear inner fenderliner with 4 people in the car, and I hit a bad dip at hi speed.

-1.5????? is this your weekend car? track car?
I had -1. but couldn't get the rears to hook for shit.. I would just sit there like I was on butter.
I have a long commute 60 miles per day and with soft tires they go by quick. at least that was my experience.

wear on the outside indicates toe issue or bad shocks,or crazy driving!

I wonder if the offset on the new wheels is different from the old style.
you can see other people are lower without rubbing on stock wheels, but the older style.

When i see a corner i dive in, and i have a track day in them. just looking at the wheel you can't tell that its angled in with a -1.5. and i know plenty of people with -1.5 that experience no abnormal tire wear, especially with p zeros. Just my experiences

If anyone can help that'll be greatly appreciated. I contacted bc and provided pictures and their response was to take out the middle perch. I can understand if I was trying to slam the car but I am not. Currently I am at a 1-7/16" drop in the front. I have maybe 1/8" between my perches. Preload is set to 4mm as bc recommends.

In the back I have atleast 3/4" left to drop on the Coilover if I wanted but my fronts are maxed out. Attached pics of the springs and current front wheel height compared to fender.
