Welcome to the forum!!

BTW, there seems to be an interesting correlation between Jeep owners and Camaro owners.

Well, you probably have way more funds than me (I'm a jobless student lol) so i'd say look at the manga flow cat back system. That's what I'd get it I could afford it, but my buddys 2010 SS has it installed and it sounds great!

For me, however

I went the economy route. For $40 I had the local muffler shop chop off the large trash can looking things GM calls mufflers and had them replace the mufflers with straight pipe. They put the mufflers tips on the straight pipe. Looks stock, sounds really really good and its not a bad idea for a temporary solution or permanent if you like it

As for me, I'm leaving mine. Love it

Btw, post pics! Welcome to camaro5

Welcome to the board. Mario is right. You just can't beat a Magnaflow. I have the 3" Comp version with 1 7/8 Kooks headers. You will like the growl.

If you like the " old school " sound and would like to keep your warranty intact, I would suggest Flowmaster American Thunder ...

the straight pipe option does nothing to your warranty.

IMO straight pipes is just loud, but has no tone to it and gets rather annoying after a while.

This is so true. I work a lot with Jeeps too, both groups want to get every last bit of performance out no matter how they can.

+1
Similar set up for me 3" comp magna flow cat back with obx LT headers (catless). Mine had the magnaflow before the headers and it was a very nice sound.

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion

IMO, I think the straight pipe has a really good sound. I've had a lot of compliments on it, to me sounds amazing, gives me a huge grin everytine I start it, and if you don't like it, only $40 down the tube

All about your personal taste, maybe someone has videos of different set ups

Cheers, enjoy the new car

Ide go with Flowmasters , nice deep mellow sound unless you want them to be loud, then just stomp on it.
