Update: Had the "new" NW 102 at the track today. Only managed 2 1/8 passes but no issues with it shutting. Seemed like it would have been ok for the full 1/4 because I did get the car into fourth.

Ha, always the optimist Mike. Rained out like Bill mentioned. It's been raining all wk. They spent all morning drying the track. The track was green so they wanted us to take it easy at first. No full passes. Car seemed ok. Hard to tell with 1/8 th mile passes. Open breather seemed to release the cc pressure. New slicks and green track made for shitty 60's. I'll show Ted the logs to check the important stuff.

Same ones. The other ones were toast. They were brand new at PW. 10 trips to the track since then. I'm going to try and slow down the burnouts per Hoosiers instruction and see how it launches. Today it sucked. 1.52. Not sure if the green track hurt it or not a long enough burn. The slicks that came off were riding in the light gray carcass. Still were working though.

I agree re: excessive burnouts... I've heard you only need to heat them up 20 to 25* hotter than track temp... Too bad you guys had a wash out at the track today... I know how you were all looking forward to it

It was Florida weather. Low 70's and 100% humidity. I doubt I was going that fast anyway. We really wanted to test the NW and try out using an open breather for racing. At least we accomplished those two things so next time out should provide better results.

It tough Mr.George. I'm not rolling with 875 rwhp.:(. I'm struggling with my 719.2. It's hard being a second class citizen.

The Hoosier site say to heat, and a medium Rpm, until you start to see the smoke, then roll out. Not choke out the track workers!!!!!

I flew into Westchester NY this past tuesday in real crappy weather. It was obvious to me that stalled system was not going to leave anytime soon. Did Big Dog or any of the other big builds do anything?

i have heard exact same on burnout, if you heat them to much they get greasy...typically spin them for 5 seconds at a decent rpm..sorry u got rained on , i know that you were ready to run some good laps...and i have my own reasons to see how you ran a couple 1/4 miles with the new tb

Big Dog is bust with a huge project at his house and Ray (1017 rwhp) showed right as the rain started. June 15th should get done more heads up there.

i can,t speak for nick, but i believe there are further testing in process b4 anything happens...jamie had proven issues and as of now testing is going well...still need a couple 1/4 miles under his belt and that would be promising..also i believe tommy is also testing a new 102 and am sure as soon as he gets some reults we will hear back...i don,t believe anyone wants to jump the gun and say all looks good till they have proven results , whether its proming or not...i believe a couple weeks down the road and we will get some news..

Any chance another is needed for R&D?

I'm sure he needs a truck tester.

New from Ray! 1" spacer.

I will be 800 at the wheels next time out no spray, whole new setup (heads, cam and spacer on E85)

150shot will put me damn close to 1000rwhp! Been over 4 weeks waiting on a TPIS 102. Guess we will have to see how far I can go with a 90mm.

Just always looking for a bit extra!

Any clue when you guys will have more testing done?

Mike...

Im running a Magnuson jackshaft tvs2300 Cog overdriven rear, 2.7 pulley, 5% overdriven crank balancer, 102mm intake hat, 1" spacer 115lbs injectors, meth and spray.... Going to e85 and ditching the meth soon. Just put good heads, a big cam and installing a chiller system for the intercooler. All I need is a 102mm TB.

I will try to make some more prototype parts over the weekend so that I can send more out to be tested.
