Halos during the day

Ive looked and looked but can't seem to find any information on how to get the factory halos to turn on during the day. I could have sworn I saw a thread a while ago about how to do this but for the life of me I can't find it now. So to all the gurus out there is there a way to get the factory halos to run during the day? I already bought Ofer's DRL harness to run the DRL's at night but I really want my halos on during the day. Thanks for the info.

The easiest thing you could do bro is turn your knob to parking lights. With this the sidemarkers and halos will come on. Some say its a pain to do everytime you get in and out your car but it doesnt cost anymore money.

That's what I didn't want to have to do every time I get in the car lol. I know there was a cheap and relatively easy way to get the halos on during the day while keeping the the switch in "auto" but I cant remember.

Send a PM to IrocanSS. He just hooked me up. Tell him I sent you. It took 5 minutes, wire taps, and some electrical tape. You can still turn them off with the switch if you want.

You can probably do it for free, if you have a couple things laying around.

If you have the JDP color changing halo kit, your halos will come on as soon as you turn the key, or they will run off battery/fuse power lol

If you've never used T-taps before, be aware that they can last from 10 months to 10 years (call it 3 months underneath the bed of a pickup in winter), but they look like an amateur's handiwork all the time. Make no mistake, I use them quite a bit on different things, but i'm tryin to avoid using them on the Camaro.

I'm still trying to decide if that's the way I want to go or just replace my halos all together. If I decide to use the splice method I won't be using T-taps, ill cut the wires and splice em in the correct way.
