I haven't had any issues with "no-touch" washes and my hood, roof, tail stripes, however the little vinyl stripes a put on the gills have had issues coming off.

Give it a few days since they are new. Then you are fine.

The vinyl is safe but your car paint is not. Hand wash it.

yes, but wouldn't hurt to put a coat of wax over it before you subject it to car washes.

anytime you use high pressure water sprayers on vinyl you take the chance of stripping them off

Sometimes time isn't available for hand washing.

I use only high pressure washers to prevent swirls, especially during winter time.. Vinyls should be ok with those.

Going through a rag auto wash, especially with the guys at the end using bath towels, will cause swirl marks.

Only if they're the glossy ones! If they're flat-finished, DO NOT put wax on them. It is painful to strip crappy-looking wax off of flat-finish vinyl stripes.

With the name Adam you should be ashamed of yourself for taking your Camaro through a car wash!

I have sold and developed all types of car washes for years. HP touch free types use a lot of chemicals. Cloth types hold dirt in the cloth. Foam brushes are best. They are very mild on the finish. If you love your car hand wash CAREFULLY and rinse often.

I was worried about this for HP washers.

I don't see any places with foam brushes around here. Its either HP, Cloth heavy strips, shiny spin strips, DIY HP gun and brush.

Wish I had more time to hand wash.

Ok goodness I won't use a car wash anymore. Luckily I have my own hp sprayer. The paints already got swirls from the previous owner.

To be in the safe side, I recommend that your ride gets a hand wash. Your Camaro will thank you.
