Injector Expierenced Help. Please...
I am tearing into the Camaro to slap a EFORCE SC on and a LS9 Cam in (AFM/DOD Delete).
I was just talking to a local performance shop, and he told me that the 52lb injectors that come with the Eforce aren't going to be enough to support my Headers and CAI and a tune. He said the 52lb injectors are just enough for the stock Eforce kit on the stock car. I am running the JRE Fuel Rail Upgrade Kit and a ZL1 Fuel Pump. I am also running a 3.5 Pulley. If you need any other information, let me know. But can someone (esp a vendor on here) please let me know what size injector I need to be running? Or if the stock 52lb will work fine... I have no idea how to calculate it out and I don't want to slap the car on a dyno, to be told I need to run a 60lb injector, tear the car apart again, and have to pay twice for a dyno tune. any help in advance, I'd greatly appreciate it!

The 52's are working fine for my EForce setup with LT headers and RotoFab intake.

With a LS3 you're gonna need at least 60's, with a L99 the 52's will be borderline, so if you are planning on stepping up the power any more you might as well do the bigger injectors now...

Get bigger injectors. They might work fine but one can go lean, as happened to BullF16 and then eat your cylinder.
No reason not to upgrade. |

What kind of horsepower are we talking about?

Thanks for the replies. If my calculations serve me correctly, I am guessing between 550-600 to the wheels on a A6. I a not expecting big boost numbers because of the headers.
The biggest injector I see for the EForce is 60#

Look at the ID850's. They will cost you some cash but worth every dollar. Talk with Ted @ JRE and it will get you a good price.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk. If is spelllled wrong deal with it.

The 52's will be fine but if you add anything else you will need bigger. I have a very similar setup making 570 rwhp and never see over 85% idc.
That said I'm just got ID 850's that are going in next week only because I'm going to a smaller pulley.

You need 60# minimum for 600rwhp, or 720 crank hp on an A6. Again, do not skimp on fueling for a FI motor. I had 65# FAST injectors on 715 RWHP and lost my #5 piston top ringland....i beat the crap out of the motor though trying to break it....oh, i succeeded at that. Still drives fine, just blows lots of oil thru the breather.

ID-850's are the way to go. Kinda spendy but worth it.

I have similar mods as you, except mine is a manual. E-Force S/C w/52# injectors, Jannetty fuel rail upgrade, Kooks 1 7/8 LT headers. hi-flow cats and Roto-Fab CAI. After a dyno tune it was running out of fuel @ 6500 rpm. The tuner reduced the rev limiter to 6000. My tuner just installed 72# injectors. It isn't close to running out of fuel now and rev limiter is bsck up to 6500 rpm.

Where did you find 72# injectors for the Eforce?
