How many telemarketing calls can I expect from Onstar?

I'm not trying to start an argument with those who love Onstar or those who just enjoy getting phone calls. I'm just looking for a number from those who have let Onstar expire. My free Onstar expires in 2 or 3 weeks. How many times can I expect a call in my car telling me they have "important information about my Onstar account"? It happened at 6:40 this morning and I'm curious how many times I can expect this announcement in my car.

Only a few times for me in my previous car. Now if you really want to be pestered, try XM and cancel or let it expire. I had to tell 3 different people that I did not want XM anymore. I got probably 7 calls about it. I will NEVER use XM again because of that.

A shit load of emails. I dropped the nav part and kept the other shit. The nav was worthless. The other is worth it to me.

Onstar I only got 2 a day for about a month then they quit, XM on the other hand is still hell on earth 5 months after my trial ran out.

XM sends me letters all the time. I have called them 5 times now and now I don't give a shit how many trees they kill from sending me letters to sign back up.

Thanks! One thing that is clear is that Onstar is pretty inconsistent with their marketing. I was thinking about pulling the fuse to avoid the calls since I'm not going to subscribe, but I might leave it to see how many I will get. I just hate telemarketing or actually phone calls of any kind. Has to do with being on call for many years. They can send all the emails they want.

I've heard the same about Sirius. They are still sending me letters and emails about a defective car that was replaced by another manufacturer during the Sirius free trial. I called and told them, but that didn't help. Makes me glad they didn't have my real phone number on that account. I do enjoy their product, though, and subscribed to XM for my Camaro.

Never had a call in nearly 3 years. Other than the monthly report e-mails have been negligible.

maybe when it ends... its stupid Sirius that bugs the crap out of you ...one day I got a phone call and 2 letters in the mail from them. They practically beg you!!

It has only happened once. This morning I went to buy donuts for our breakfast. Came out of the store, started the car and didn't even have the radio on when a voice came out of my car saying it was Onstar and they had important information about my account and asked me to press the blue button. It was strange and I was curious if this was going to happen a lot now.
